Job summary

WellSky is seeking an Associate Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure. You will work with senior engineers to ensure security and performance, document configurations, and assist clients with VPN setups.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of experience, a related degree, and basic networking knowledge. This role requires working in our Overland Park, KS corporate office with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 0–2 years related work experience.
• Basic networking understanding.
• Client communications experience (preferred).
• Palo Alto firewall knowledge (preferred).
• Cisco Systems networking knowledge (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Consult with senior engineers to design and implement network solutions.
• Maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other equipment; monitor performance.
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network initiatives.
• Assist clients with VPN installations and troubleshooting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
