ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure network infrastructure within the DHMS program. You will collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to enforce policies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure DHMS IT policy compliance.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper equipment, familiarity with SDN and network automation, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of experience in network administration.
• Strong understanding of network principles and prior experience with network equipment (Cisco, Juniper).
• Advanced diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, manage, and optimize network infrastructure for reliability, performance, and security.
• Work with IT teams and stakeholders to develop network policies.
• Troubleshoot network issues and ensure compliance with DHMS IT policies and best practices.
• Configure and troubleshoot network equipment (e.g., Cisco, Juniper) using tools such as Wireshark.
• Conduct network assessments and develop automated configurations.
• Develop and maintain network documentation.
• Perform system testing and analysis.
• Perform backup and recovery functions on network infrastructure.
• Configure routers and switches to industry standards.
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory network accounts.
