About the Role

Join the network team that keeps a secure federal network running efficiently. Working at the direction of the lead Network Administrator, you will ensure that computers and connected devices — routers, hubs, and switches — operate correctly and respond when network anomalies arise.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Environment
Schedule & Location

Hybrid — approximately 50% remote / 50% on-site. Primary site: Central Office, Washington, DC. Possible travel to FCC Butner (NC), FCC Allenwood (PA), or FCC Victorville (CA). Government-furnished equipment (laptop, PIV card) provided.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM ET, ~1,992 hours/year. Full-time, W-2.

Eligibility & Clearance

Public Trust Required U.S. Citizenship is required — non-U.S. citizens are not eligible. Must obtain and maintain a High-Risk Public Trust clearance (Tier 4 background investigation). Full adjudication required before starting — no pre-employment waivers. Must meet DOJ residency requirement (3 of last 5 years in the U.S. or qualifying exception). Work supports Federal Prison Industries/UNICOR; personnel may interact with federal inmates under agency supervision and must follow all institutional security rules.
