Job summary

STN, Inc. is seeking a motivated Network Administrator to join our data center operations team in Odessa, TX. This role involves hands-on tasks such as maintaining and troubleshooting network equipment, working closely with senior engineers to ensure a reliable network environment.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of relevant experience, solid understanding of networking fundamentals, and ability to work in a physical data center. We offer a competitive salary, benefits including health coverage and unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a data center or network infrastructure role.
• Comfortable working in a data center environment.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Rack, stack, and cable network equipment following data center standards.
• Monitor network hardware health and escalate anomalies.
• Assist with structured cabling projects and documentation.

Skills

Hands-on experience in a data center

Understanding of OSI model fundamentals

Basic IP networking

Structured cabling skills

Familiarity with Cisco CLI

Education

CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification

Tools

DCIM tools

OTDR and cable testing tools
