Job summary

Oneida Professional Services is seeking a Junior Applications Developer to support the DINFOS Technology & Logistics Support Services contract at Fort Meade, MD. Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications that support DINFOS academic, administrative, and operational needs.

You will participate in all SDLC phases, collaborate with stakeholders, and implement accessibility and security practices.

Qualifications

Experience developing enterprise software applications.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft .NET technologies.
Relational database design, development, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and secure coding practices.
Experience gathering business requirements into technical solutions.
Experience building web-based applications and UIs.
Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications (COTS and custom).
Participate in all SDLC phases: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, sustainment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and validate requirements.
Create UI layouts, workflows, reports, and screens for apps.
Develop and optimize relational databases for performance and reliability.
Support deployments and maintain environments (dev/test/prod).
Produce technical docs, specs, and user materials.
Ensure compliance with security standards and accessibility requirements.
