Job summary

Department of Public Health in Lexington, SC is hiring an analyst to perform analysis, design, coding and testing of agency computer systems supporting Vital Records, BEE, First Sounds and PHSIS. You will also monitor backend processes and ensure documentation is kept up to date.

Under limited supervision, you’ll provide technical consulting to customers, help resolve issues, and ensure adherence to IT standards while collaborating with EDM and GIS integrations.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; 1+ year of software development experience.
• Experience writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and XML.
• Knowledge of MVC frameworks (C#) and web app development standards.

Responsibilities

• Work with Senior Analysts to analyze, design, code, test, document, implement and upgrade agency systems.
• Integrate and monitor backend system processes and solutions; resolve customer issues.
• Prepare and maintain system documentation and project communications.
• Act as technical consultant to customers and collaborate with IT staff to ensure standards compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned; may require after-hours or weekend work.
