Job summary

Austal USA is seeking an entry‑level Marine/Mechanical Engineer to join our design team. You will perform routine design calculations and develop drawings for shipboard systems, under the direction of the Chief Department Engineer.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering and up to 3 years of related experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is preferred, and the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0 to 3 years of engineering, design or construction experience.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities
