Job summary

Reliability & Performance Technologies (R&P) in the United States requests a junior Electrical Power and Propulsion engineer to support the Navy ship programs. Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Secret DoD Security Clearance or ability to obtain one
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related Marine Engineering field
  • 3+ years of experience in power systems, power electronics, or related electrical work
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with an affinity for marine power and propulsion machinery
  • Experience with Word, PowerPoint, Excel (and related software)

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering and technical support for the Integrated Power System (IPS) concepts and ship system requirements.
  • Develop, test, troubleshoot, and sustain power systems for Navy ship programs.
  • Analyze data from lab, shipyard, and shipboard tests to support troubleshooting and lifecycle sustainment.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and document technical work.
  • Ensure electrical safety and compliance with applicable standards.
