Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture or equivalent with marine structures, hydrostatics, and hydrodynamics.
  • Engineer‑in‑Training certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Rhino3D, GHS, Python, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams and convey complex ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Apply hydrostatics, stability, and structural analyses.
  • Understand and apply maritime regulatory guidance, field work (shipchecking and shipboard surveys), shipyard practices, and contract specifications.
