The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited Bachelor's in Naval Architecture or related marine discipline, with 0–2 years of experience, and strong communication skills. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture or related marine discipline from ABET-accredited school.
• 0–2 years of progressive Naval Architecture experience.
• Some knowledge of U.S. Federal or commercial shipbuilding programs.
• Familiarity with DoD/ DHS shipbuilding programs is a plus.
• Knowledge of ship design rules and regulations (USN/USCG/IACS).
• Proficient with common productivity software.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide design support for feasibility, concept, preliminary and contract design.
• Perform stability analyses, sea-keeping and hydrodynamics studies.
• Develop system docs and ship specifications for surface assets.
