This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in mission-critical software, requires US citizenship and an active Secret clearance, and expects 3+ years of software development with Linux, Bash, SQL, and API integration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience developing with Python and C++.
• Familiarity with Bash scripting and Linux environments.
• Understanding of APIs, middleware development, and software integration.
• Experience with SQL queries and relational databases (MySQL or MariaDB).
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, and debug software.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain middleware connecting Python GUI applications with C++ backend systems.
• Write, troubleshoot, and maintain code using Python, C++, Bash, and scripting tools.
• Design APIs to support communication between systems.
• Retrieve, manage, and validate data using MySQL/MariaDB databases and SQL queries.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to ensure smooth integration.
• Support software testing, debugging, and performance improvements.
• Assist with Linux-based builds, deployments, and configuration.
• Maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
