Baker McKenzie's premiere Global Antitrust and Competition Group seeks a lawyer with 2–5 years of antitrust experience in a law firm or government setting to join its Washington, DC office. The role emphasizes advocacy before regulatory agencies, including the DOJ and FTC, and requires strong communication and analytical skills.
Applicants must be admitted to the Washington, DC bar or eligible for admission by waiver.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5years of experience in antitrust, either in a law firm or government environment. We welcome candidates with experience and interest in antitrust litigation (governmental and private), cartel defense, analyzing transactions and/or merger control. Extensive familiarity with the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act, including the review process and its implementing rules, is preferred. The ideal candidate will also possess strong advocacy skills for representing clients before regulatory agencies, including the DOJ and FTC.
Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and writing skills are required. Prior federal judicial clerkship experience is a plus. The candidate must have the ability to function smoothly in a global team environment with culturally diverse team members. Must be admitted to and a member in good standing of the Washington, DC bar or eligible to waive in to the Washington, DC bar.
