Job summary

Grifols in Clayton, NC is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to perform routine preventive maintenance and repair of pumps and valves, and support equipment, ensuring reliability. You will use CMMS to document activity, follow SOPs and cGMP requirements, and participate in training and qualifications.

This role involves hands-on work in a manufacturing environment with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years’ experience in maintenance, manufacturing, mechanical trades, or utility equipment operation.
• An technical associate’s degree may substitute for experience as described.
• Associate’s degree in mechanical maintenance with 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on process equipment and support systems to ensure equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on process equipment and support systems.
• Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System to document activity.
• Follow SOPs, P&ID diagrams, job plans and/or equipment manuals to perform work.
• Adhere to cGMP, Safety, and Environmental procedures.
• Assist with modification, installation and startup of new and existing equipment.
