Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical, Architectural or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 0 years experience; travel may be required and varies by project.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, creates engineering designs including HVAC systems master planning & studies; HVAC & Plumbing systems; mechanical systems (co-generation); sustainability/energy efficiency/renewable energy/green buildings; etc.
• Reviews draft designs for compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Ensures that firm policies and practices are followed on all designs.
• Performs site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications.
• Updates design requirements as necessary.
• Contributes to firm's TKM by developing white papers and technical design documentation of new or special case designs, studies, etc.
• Submits technical papers and designs for publishing to technical journals.
• Performs other duties as required.
• May create or work with a team to create a poster or other presentation material for a conference.
