Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural or Chemical Engineering, or in Engineering Technology or related discipline.

• The frequency of travel is contingent on duties and project demands.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, creates engineering designs including HVAC systems master planning & studies; HVAC & Plumbing systems; mechanical systems including co-generation; sustainability/energy efficiency/renewable energy/green buildings; etc.
• Reviews draft designs for compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Ensures that firm policies and practices are followed on all designs.
• Performs site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications.
• Updates design requirements as necessary.
• Contributes to firm's knowledge by developing white papers and technical design documentation.
• Submits technical papers and designs for publishing to technical journals.
• Performs other duties as required.
• May create or work with a team to create a poster or other presentation material for a conference.
