Job summary

Ferrara/KME, part of Terex, is seeking an Engineer to design mechanical components and systems for fire apparatus, collaborating with Sales and Engineers to meet customer requirements and ensure producibility.

You will create drawings, manage BOMs, support production and Field Service, and participate in design reviews to maintain quality and regulatory compliance.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's in Engineering, CAD proficiency, and at least 2 years design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with CAD systems and manufacturing processes.
• Minimum of 2 years general design work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and systems for fire apparatus.
• Create manufacturing drawings and BOMs.
• Provide engineering support to production and field service.
• Lead design reviews and ensure producibility and compliance with NFPA standards.
• Manage engineering changes and documentation.
