Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in CAD systems – Autodesk Inventor and/or Auto CAD.
• Minimum of 2 years general design work experience.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards related to Fire Apparatus is not required but will be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Create and modify mechanical/electrical components and systems used on Fire Apparatus.
• Create drawings for manufacturing; follow drafting standards and metal fabrication processes.
• Manage indented Bills of Materials (BOM) per company standards.
• Provide manufacturing support to ensure quality and schedule commitments.
• Lead cross-functional design reviews to ensure producibility and compliance.
• Engage in customer meetings to capture design requirements and address questions regarding product design parameters.
