Job summary

Salas O’Brien, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and coordinate building systems across Laboratories, Manufacturing, Office and Educational facilities. The role includes creating 3-D Revit models and construction documents, with collaboration across engineers and designers.

You will present design recommendations to clients, support project teams, and travel up to 5% as needed in the Laconia/Boston/Portland footprint.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering; FE exam planned or taken; pursuing PE license.
• Professional Engineering license is expected after required experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection designs for buildings.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, and other engineers in design workflows.
• Create 3-D Revit models and construction documents for mechanical systems.
• Clearly communicate design recommendations to clients and project teams.
