Job summary

HUBER+SUHNER is seeking an engineer to oversee ECN creation and documentation, driving mechanical design and process improvements under the Head of Product Development for Components/Cable Assemblies. You will implement quality management systems and ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements while collaborating across Product Management and R&D teams.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related field.
1–3 years of manufacturing or aerospace experience.
Proficient in ANSI Y-14.5 tolerancing and relevant military/commercial specs.
Experience with CAD tools such as CATIA V5, SolidWorks or AutoCAD LT.
Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

Oversee creation and implementation of ECNs and process engineering docs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Drive mechanical design and process engineering initiatives under Head of Product Development for Components/Cable Assemblies.
Provide tools and methods, measure KPI performance, and drive continual product/process improvements.
Implement and maintain AS9100 and ISO 9001:2008 QMS in mechanical design and process roles.
