Job summary

TravisMathew is seeking a Junior Materials Developer to support fabric and trim development for the Women’s line. The role partners with Design, Development and Sourcing to interpret seasonal material requirements and ensure alignment with sourcing strategy and cost targets.

Responsibilities include managing inline pillar fabric and trim developments, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining lab dips, strike offs, and development documentation to meet deadlines and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical trade school or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in material sourcing and development.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Design, Merch, Development & Sourcing teams to develop in-season fabrics for Women’s line.
• Track fabric, lab dip and print submissions, developments, pricing and approvals in PLM system.
• Order and track yardage commitments on greige rolls & proto rolls in PLM system.
• Maintain development files and reports for documentation and seasonal recaps.
• Prepare and present development trials to assist with fabric/trim adoption.
