Job summary

TravisMathew is seeking a Junior Materials Developer to assist in fabric and trim development for the Women’s line. You will work with Design, Development and Sourcing to interpret seasonal material requirements and execute initiatives aligned with sourcing strategy and cost targets.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver 1–2 inline pillars of seasonal fabric developments into bulk-ready textiles, while tracking lab dips, pricing, and approvals in the PLM system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or technical trade school and/or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in material sourcing and development.
• Experience transferable, with familiarity in fabric and trim development processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-season fabrics for Women's line in collaboration with Design, Development & Sourcing teams.
• Translate fabric selections into bulk-ready, cost-conscious textiles meeting quality standards.
• Track submissions, pricing, approvals, and yardage in PLM and coordinate with vendors.
• Prepare development trials and present findings to stakeholders to drive fabric adoption.
• Maintain lab dips, strike-offs, and trim development documentation and organize samples.
