Qualifications
- Economics or finance degree from a strong university.
- Strong understanding of how economies, companies and banks operate.
- Ability to read financial statements and key metrics.
- Proficient Excel skills.
- Clear, literate writing and storytelling.
- English proficiency at B2+.
- Self-directed with remote work capability.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the monthly market overview and quarterly competitor benchmark for senior management.
- Track Mexico's macroeconomy and household debt data and feed scenario inputs.
- Run deep-dives on banks and fintechs in Mexico and other markets.
- Estimate market sizes and assess attractiveness of segments.
- Collect, clean and reconcile financial statements and regulatory data.
- Turn findings into concise English slides and memos.
