Job summary

Veridiam, Inc. is seeking a Jr. Manufacturing Engineer in El Cajon, CA to assist in researching, designing, and driving manufacturing processes across sheet metal fabrication, machining, assembly, and heat treating.

The role supports production with technical guidance, cost reduction ideas, and collaboration across departments. A BS in mechanical engineering and 1 year of manufacturing experience are preferred; exotic metals experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year manufacturing experience or equivalent.
• Experience with exotic metals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in researching, designing and driving manufacturing processes to support improvements and production.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to the production processes and suggest cost reductions.
• Create and maintain bill of materials and routing data in the ERP system.
• Create and manage project timelines and coordinate with teams to meet production schedules.
• Collaborate with management and engineering to align manufacturing capabilities with product requirements.
