Fortune 250 global manufacturing leader in Erie, PA is seeking an early-career Manufacturing Engineer to join its operations. This role is ideal for a new or recent graduate who enjoys hands-on problem solving and wants experience in manufacturing, automation, machine design, and process improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Internship/co-op experience is a plus.
Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing.
Exposure to CAD, automation, controls, or machine design helpful.
Hands-on, collaborative, and comfortable working directly with operators and production teams.

Responsibilities

Work directly with manufacturing and shop-floor teams to solve production and process issues
Support assembly equipment, automation, machine design, and process improvements
Participate in equipment and fixture design using CAD
Gain exposure to PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automated manufacturing systems
Work on continuous improvement and problem-solving projects
