IMSolutions is seeking aJunior Management Analyst/Program and Executive Support Analyst to provide analytical, organizational, reporting, and administrative support for HUD executive initiatives and task-order activities.

This role is full-time and remote

This position is suited for an early-career management consulting or program support professional who can transform information from meetings, documents, workflows, and data sources into organized analyses, accurate reports, actionable trackers, and executive-ready materials. The successful candidate will help senior consultants, program managers, and HUD stakeholders maintain visibility into work status, decisions, risks, action items, and operational improvement activities.

The role is important because HUD’s executive initiatives involve multiple stakeholders, shifting priorities, recurring reporting requirements, and deliverables that must be accurate, timely, clearly written, and suitable for senior leadership review. The analyst must be comfortable operating in a structured federal environment while remaining adaptable when task-order requirements or priorities evolve.

Position Summary

The Junior Management Analyst supports organizational studies, workflow documentation, data collection, research, reporting, meeting coordination, presentation development, correspondence, and action-item tracking. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple assignments with limited day-to-day direction. The individual should anticipate information needs, identify missing or inconsistent data, communicate emerging issues, and help the team maintain orderly and defensible program documentation.

These functions include:

• Collect information from meetings, interviews, documents, spreadsheets, project trackers, and stakeholder communications.
• Analyze program, workflow, operational, and performance information to identify trends, gaps, bottlenecks, and follow-up requirements.
• Document current-state processes, roles, decision points, dependencies, handoffs, risks, and procedural requirements.
• Develop workflow diagrams, process narratives, meeting summaries, status reports, briefing slides, executive summaries, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain project schedules, action-item logs, issue trackers, risk registers, decision logs, contact lists, and deliverable calendars.
• Coordinate meetings, including invitations, agendas, materials, participant information, logistics, and follow-up communications.
• Capture accurate meeting notes, decisions, assignments, due dates, unresolved questions, and dependencies.
• Track action items through completion and follow up with responsible team members regarding approaching or missed deadlines.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports summarizing accomplishments, schedule status, risks, issues, metrics, and upcoming activities.
• Support workflow and organizational studies by conducting research, gathering stakeholder input, comparing current practices, and documenting findings.
• Compile data from multiple sources and perform basic validation, reconciliation, categorization, and trend analysis.
• Create charts, tables, dashboards, and presentation materials that communicate information clearly to senior leaders.
• Research federal policies, management practices, organizational requirements, and relevant industry benchmarks under the direction of senior staff.
• Draft professional correspondence, memoranda, reports, standard operating procedures, job aids, and management-consulting work products.
• Review documents for grammar, formatting, consistency, completeness, source support, version control, and compliance with established templates.
• Incorporate Government and internal reviewer comments into revised deliverables within required review cycles.
• Organize files, supporting evidence, reference materials, and deliverable versions using approved document-management practices.
• Monitor task-order deadlines and notify the project manager of potential schedule, quality, resource, or coordination concerns.
• Participate in quality-control reviews and verify that submitted work meets the applicable acceptance criteria.
• Protect sensitive, proprietary, personally identifiable, and controlled unclassified information in accordance with contract and company requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in business administration, management, public administration, organizational development, political science, economics, communications, information systems, operations research, or a related field.
• Strong writing, proofreading, formatting, and records-organization skills.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to raise questions or escalate concerns.
• Ability to protect sensitive information and follow federal and corporate information-handling requirements.

Required Skills:

Minimum of four years of relevant professional experience in management analysis, program support, project coordination, business analysis, operations support, executive support, or management consulting.

Technical Skills:

Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in business, public administration, management, organizational development, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting a federal agency, federal contractor, or public-sector consulting engagement.
• Experience preparing materials for executives, senior government officials, or program leadership.
• Knowledge of federal program management, organizational transformation, portfolio management, or operational efficiency initiatives. Experience with HUD or another cabinet-level federal department.
• Experience developing process maps, SOPs, job aids, management studies, or organizational assessment materials.
• Experience supporting data calls and consolidating information from multiple offices or stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint lists, Microsoft Forms, Visio, or Smartsheet.
• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements for documents and presentations.
• Familiarity with Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, change management, or continuous process improvement.
• CAPM, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Certified Associate in Project Management, Scrum, or comparable early-career professional certification.
• Experience handling controlled unclassified information or other sensitive Government information.
