Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field required.
• 0–3 years engineering experience (co-op or internship included).
• Foundational knowledge of computer systems and technologies.
• Basic understanding of vision hardware and lighting.
• Experience with C# or VB.NET in a professional or academic setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing production vision systems, including imaging components, illumination, and PC hardware.
• Support development of machine vision algorithms for quality inspection and automation.
• Implement features and fix bugs in production vision applications.
• Troubleshoot and upgrade existing vision systems for reliability and performance.
• Document analytics from computer vision algorithms to support improvements.
• Write technical documentation for end users on vision system usage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow Gentex engineering practices.
• Provide support during production downtime and help resolve issues quickly.
