Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks an Integration Engineer/Manager to support the MDS in distributed HWIL simulations, including GT/FT events and CDI activities. You’ll coordinate test planning, OSF framework builds, and DES-I interfaces to resolve issues and ensure successful mission demonstrations.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance, a STEM degree, and the ability to work across diverse teams, travel up to 25%, andOccasional after-hours support to meet critical testing timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field; active DoD Secret Clearance.
• 0-5 years' experience with relevant roles or equivalent experience; able to interface with simulation framework developers and stakeholders.
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal direction and collaborate across teams.
• Understanding of MDS infrastructure and Element capabilities; strong interpersonal/analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in all phases of M&S Framework integration for GT/FT events and CDI activities.
• Drafts and distributes End-of-Day reports to keep DES-I Teams informed of event execution progress.
• Coordinate communications between labs supporting CDI, GT and FT events for M&S teams.
• Draft PERSTAT reports, track prerequisites for team travel, and coordinate travel needs.
• Assist Event Mission Manager with DES-I internal coordination meetings and slide decks.
