Job summary

The People Of: Professional Services in Boise, Idaho seeks a Mergers & Acquisitions Associate to join its Corporate Group. The role centers on M&A and related transactions within a nationally recognized practice, offering exposure to a broad range of deals and a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience in corporate transactions, a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, and Idaho Bar admission or willingness to pursue admission.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of experience in corporate transactions, ideally with a focus on M&A.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Admission to the Idaho Bar, or willingness to become admitted.
• Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• Experience with corporate restructuring, cross-border transactions, or private equity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements and other transactional documents.
• Support due diligence and manage closing processes.
• Advise clients on corporate structuring, compliance, and governance matters.
• Assist with cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients across industries.
