Candidates should have 3+ years in logistics support for small boat maintenance, 2+ years with Coast Guard Logistics Business Model, and familiarity with HM&E and electronic systems. Clearance or ability to obtain credentials is preferred; US citizen required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in logistics support for small boat maintenance.
• 2+ years with Coast Guard Logistics Business Model.
• Working knowledge of HM&E systems.
• Experience with electronic systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine the extent and acceptability of interchangeable items and recommend equipment modifications.
• Determine the effect of maintenance changes on the supply chain.
• Assess and advise on the impact of equipment support programs for the Coast Guard.
• Apply the 10 elements of logistics to SBPL assets.
• Draft Equipment Integrated Logistics Support Plans for SBPL-supported systems.
• Apply Reliability-Centered Maintenance principles to SBPL assets.
• Generate and maintain maintenance standards in FLS, NESSS, and related systems.
• Update records and generate reports within FLS-MAM and NESSS.
