Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking Planning graduates to join our Stuart, Florida office in 2027. This is not a remote position.

You will contribute to pre-construction planning, permitting, and analysis for diverse projects, working with project managers and cross-disciplinary teams to shape our clients’ built environments. Emphasis on regulatory understanding and collaborative problem solving is expected as you grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Planning degree from an accredited program by Summer 2027 in City & Regional Planning, Urban Planning, Transportation Planning, or related major.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to pre-construction planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver clients' visions.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and Kimley-Horn's standards.
• Evaluate development proposals for compliance with zoning regulations.
• Prepare planning and land use studies.
• Coordinate with municipal and state agencies.
• Gain exposure to diverse project experiences serving public and private sectors.
