Martenson, Hasbrouck & Simon LLP (MHS) seeks a junior associate for its Sacramento office to handle wage and hour class actions. You will work with senior attorneys, receive training and mentorship, and own your assigned cases with initiative.

Ideal candidates have 1–4 years of litigation experience, including labor and employment, and are admitted to the California Bar. The role offers growth across related matters and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of litigation experience, with labor and employment and wage-and-hour class actions a strong plus.
• Active California State Bar admission.
• JD degree from ABA-accredited law school.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong research skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defense of wage and hour class actions under supervision of senior attorneys.
• Collaborate with attorneys, manage case work, and drive assigned matters forward.
• Engage in training, oversight, and mentorship programs as part of the team.
• Contribute to other labor and employment matters as opportunities arise.
