Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO seeks a full-time Entry-Level Research Services Professional to support the Human 3D Retina Modeling Lab in stem cell culture and organoid work. The role includes media preparation, data recording, and assisting with various lab tasks under senior supervision.

Ideal candidates hold a biology-related bachelor's degree and are eager to contribute in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary setting within the Ophthalmology department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or related field.
• Preferred: Master's degree in biology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Culture, maintenance and expansion of hiPSC lines.
• Differentiate hiPSC into retinal organoids.
• Perform quality control of cell lines and organoids.
• Maintain organized lab records and data backups.
• Assist Lab manager with inventory and regulatory tasks.
• Collaborate with PIs and lab stakeholders on research activities.
• Utilize lab techniques required for ongoing projects.
• Prepare samples and document results.
