Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking an Associate Software Engineer in Phoenix, AZ to contribute to the PRO-TECH TITAN platform used in the AEC industry. You will work with experienced developers to build and enhance enterprise software using modern Java technologies and cloud deployment.

You will grow in a collaborative team, learning full-stack development, code reviews, and best practices while delivering features that impact customers and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong OO programming fundamentals in Java.
• Experience with Java frameworks Spring/Hibernate/JPA.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and ORM patterns.
• Familiarity with Git, IDEs, and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
• Exposure to GWT/SmartGWT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the PRO-TECH TITAN platform components in Java and web tech.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement new features and fixes.
• Contribute to automated tests and code quality initiatives.
• Document technical designs and coding standards.
• Participate in troubleshooting and deployment activities.
