Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, coding bootcamp completion, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of object-oriented programming using Java.
• Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring Framework and Hibernate/JPA.
• Awareness of servlet containers such as Jetty.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Working knowledge of Git version control.
• Experience using IntelliJ IDEA.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, including writing queries, JDBC connectivity, ORM-based data access.
• Understanding of OO, component-oriented, and service-oriented design principles.
• Exposure to GWT / SmartGWT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software using Java, SQL, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement new features.
• Evaluate enhancement requests and help identify technical solutions.
• Contribute to automated testing and overall software quality.
• Maintain technical documentation and coding standards.
• Learn and apply modern development tools, frameworks, and best practices.
