Job summary

Apt is seeking an entry-level IT Business Analyst to support enterprise applications, data, and technology initiatives. Ideal candidates have a degree in MIS/CIS/CS/IT or related field and a keen interest in data, systems, and process improvement.

You will gather requirements, assist with configuration and testing, and help ensure data accuracy across Oracle-based and other enterprise systems. Collaboration with business users and IT teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS/CIS/CS/IT/Business Analytics or related field.
• 0-2 years of professional experience; internships or co-ops are encouraged.
• Exposure to application support, databases, or enterprise tech through coursework or experience.
• Basic to intermediate SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Strong documentation, testing, and analytical/problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day functional and application support for enterprise systems.
• Gather and document business requirements with users and stakeholders.
• Assist with configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise apps including Oracle.
• Support data management by reviewing and maintaining data accuracy across systems.
• Use SQL and database tools for basic queries, validation, and analysis.
• Assist with testing changes, integrations, and UAT with test plans and results.
• Create and maintain documentation for requirements, processes, and procedures.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues; escalate to senior IT when needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations.
• Participate in technology projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to data quality and operational efficiency efforts.
