Job summary

Yabu Pushelberg is a globally renowned design firm seeking Junior/Intermediate Designers to contribute to concept development, schematic refinement, and construction documentation. The role involves collaborating with senior staff, coordinating material samples, and refining design language across multiple project phases.

Ideal candidates bring AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite proficiency, plus a strong eye for finishes and detail.

Qualifications

At minimum an Associate’s Degree in a related field of Design (Interior design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Fashion design, etc.)
No work experience necessary (Junior Designer) and 2+ years of work experience necessary (Intermediate Designer).
Entry level knowledge of the Interior Design profession.

Responsibilities

Collaborate in the development of concept design through planning, sketching, rendering.
Acquire and coordinate samples from vendors during schematic development.
Flush out and refine the approved design language into buildable drawings during design development.
Develop a complete drawing package with details, elevations and plans for construction documents.
Provide information and review changes with the Spec department and outside consultants during construction administration.
Mentor and share design knowledge with junior designers.
