Job summary

NBBJ is seeking an entry-level interior designer or interior architect to contribute to large, complex projects at the forefront of design and collaboration. The role offers growth within the firm and exposure to an innovative, fast-paced environment that values ideas and teamwork.

You will participate in high-energy teams, develop design concepts, produce contract documents, and support documentation across project phases, with opportunities to apply Revit and related tools.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of professional experience in Interior Design is desired.
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture is required.
• LEED Accreditation or within 18 months of hire is preferred.
• Strong conceptual design and schematic design skills are essential.
• Strong verbal and graphic communication skills are required.
• Proficiency in Revit with 3D modeling skills is essential.
• Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch Up, Rhino and/or 3DS Max is expected.
• Creation of presentation books and materials is needed.
• Experience with researching, selecting and specifying materials and finishes is desirable.
• Experience with furniture selection and specification is helpful.
