Job summary

Bonaventure Senior Living in Salem, Oregon is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to support our development team. You will work with our Senior Interior Designer and cross-functional teams to advance interior design from concept through furnishings installation, including FF&E coordination and finishes development.

The role emphasizes cost-effective design, sample tracking, and on-site installation support with occasional travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in interior design or equivalent.
Experience in any phase of commercial interior design management is a plus.
Ability to problem solve and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CAD and Revit required.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Senior Interior Designer and teams to coordinate the interior design process from conception through FF&E installation.
Research finishes, order and track samples, and manage schedules and budgets.
Assist with furnishings plans, detailing, finishes, lighting, signage, and finish schedules.
Design, purchase, and participate in installation of FF&E.
Prepare specification documents for materials and finishes for architecture/construction teams.
Read drawings and specs; coordinate with project managers and development team.
