Lex & Hudson, a boutique residential interior design studio based in Brooklyn, seeks a part-time junior interior designer/design assistant (~20 hours per week) with potential to grow. This in-person role in Brooklyn focuses on keeping projects organized and moving forward.

Responsibilities include maintaining schedules, coordinating orders/deliveries, vendor follow-up, materials sourcing, mood boards, and supporting presentations and site visits. SketchUp/AutoCAD experience is a plus.

Lex & Hudson , a boutique residential interior design studio based in Brooklyn, is looking for a part-time junior interior designer/design assistant for approximately 20 hours per week , with the potential to increase hours and grow into a full-time role.

This is an in-person position in Brooklyn .

A big part of the role will be helping keep projects organized and moving forward. Responsibilities will include maintaining project schedules, tracking orders and deliveries, following up with vendors, gathering and organizing materials and samples, and researching and sourcing furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, and other project materials .

The role may also include preparing presentations and mood boards, requesting and organizing quotes, assisting with purchasing, and supporting site visits and installations.

We’re looking for someone organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and genuinely interested in residential interior design. A design student, recent graduate, or junior designer with some experience would be a great fit. SketchUp/AutoCAD experience is a plus.

Compensation is approximately 28–32/hour , depending on experience.
