Job description

The way in. You learn how the studio actually thinks, drafting, sourcing, and sitting in on client meetings, mentored by senior designers who lead their own projects.

This seat isnt open yet.

Don't let the word junior get to your head. To us, junior means confidence without the ego.

We're looking for a designer who is steeped in the world of design, with a few residential projects already tucked firmly under their belt and plenty of room for more.

A strong team player who isn't afraid to share an opinion. Naturally curious, genuinely passionate about design, and probably browsing inspiration even in their spare time.

Proactive, reliable, and a true go-getter. Familiar with the terminology, savvy with materials, and aware that great design goes far beyond pretty fabrics and glossy swatches.

This is for a designer who wants a real career, while also being part of something bigger than themselves.

Who you are
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design.
  • 1+ years of hands-on residential design, from concept through construction completion.
  • SketchUp and CAD skills at 7/10 or better, and skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • You know materials well, and the construction methods behind them.
  • You understand space planning, and what's practical to build and cost-effective.
  • You know US market pricing, the vendors, and current trends in the field.
  • Great with people, and you get ideas across clearly, out loud and visually.
  • Organized enough to run several projects at once without dropping a thread.
  • Able to travel to projects, showrooms, and meetings throughout NYC.
  • Reliable, and you go after things without waiting to be asked.
