Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Designer I to support the Project Manager or Interior Designer across design and documentation. The role is ideal for entry-level or junior designers eager to deepen industry knowledge while working under experienced professionals.

You will assist in design, documentation, graphics, and client presentations, contributing to project delivery from concept to construction under supervision.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in Interior Architecture & Design.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create presentation packages for client meetings.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in AutoCAD and Revit support for project documents.
• Support compliance with BIM/CAD standards and procedures.
• Create 3D renderings and graphics for presentations.
• Format graphics and mood boards for client presentations.
• Collaborate with team to select finishes, fixtures, and furniture.
• Support design from space planning concept through construction.
• Develop construction drawing techniques.
• Coordinate specifications with drawings to meet project needs.
• Assist the Design lead in consultant meetings and submittals.
• Communicate with industry partners and Ware Malcomb staff.
• Assist with vendor interface and library resources.
• Support file and information storage compliance.
