Atlas Surveying, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Instrument Operators. This role offers on-the-job training and exposure to field operations, helping you learn surveying basics alongside experienced professionals.

You'll assist in setting up equipment, measure distances, and support surveying crews outdoors in varied weather. A valid driver’s license is required, and strong attention to detail will help you grow into a valued member of our Southeast firm.

Qualifications

• No prior surveying experience required; training provided.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of surveying equipment (total stations, GPS, data collectors).
• Learn and apply basic surveying techniques under supervision.
• Record data accurately and help measure distances.
• Follow directions from Crew Chief to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain equipment and assist with transport to job sites.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations on site.
