Job summary

The Investment Analyst (IA) partners with Senior Institutional Investment Managers (SIIM) and the Investment Advisory Group (IAG) to support the delivery of sophisticated investment advisory and portfolio management services to institutional clients across the Truist footprint.

The Institutional Investment Analyst serves as a key investment resource, providing portfolio analysis, investment research, performance reporting, client presentation support, and ongoing portfolio management assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• Series 65 licenses required.
• 60 days to transfer or 100 days to acquire required registrations.
• 2+ years of investment management or trading experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support portfolio construction, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance for institutional clients.
• Prepare investment reviews, performance reports, and market commentary for clients.
• Assist in new business development by analyzing client portfolios and preparing investment recommendations.
• Assist in development and monitoring of Investment Policy Statements (IPS).
• Support trading and portfolio implementation in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide analytical support for Dealer Trust Services relationships and related reporting.
• Participate in risk management and compliance activities and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated investment solutions.
