Job summary

Humana is seeking a Junior Business Information Architect to help maintain data definitions, metadata, and glossary standards under senior architects. You will assist in documenting data models, taxonomies, and glossary content to support data quality and governance across the enterprise.

You will work with data stewards and owners to organize metadata, support routine data quality tasks, and help translate business concepts into structured glossary entries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information systems, data management, or related field.
• 0–3 years in information architecture, data governance, or data management.
• Basic understanding of metadata management and business glossary concepts.

Responsibilities

• Information Architecture & Ontology Support: document and maintain glossary terms and simple data models under senior guidance.
• Metadata Management & Data Governance Support: assist in entering and organizing metadata and support data quality checks.
• Collaboration & Communication: participate in stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and clarify terms.
• Standards & Documentation: follow naming conventions and governance documentation practices.
• Quality & Continuous Learning: identify inconsistencies and escalate to senior architects for resolution.
