Job summary

Baldor Specialty Foods, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineer I to begin the IE career path. You will observe operations, collect data, and support improvement efforts across the food distribution network, learning quickly and documenting clearly to build judgment for future independent work.

You’ll work with senior engineers on time studies, data collection from ERP/WMS, and development of SOPs. This entry-level role emphasizes data discipline, attention to detail, and effective communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IE, ME, or related field.
• 0–2 years in industrial engineering, operations, or distribution/warehouse environment.
• Strong data discipline and ability to present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Observe operations and conduct time studies on pick, pack, and receiving.
• Collect, clean, and organize ERP/WMS data; prepare weekly performance reports.
• Draft and maintain SOPs and work instructions.
• Support senior engineers with data gathering and project follow-ups.
• Learn Lean fundamentals and apply feedback to improve deliverables.
