Job summary
W-Industries in Houston, Texas is seeking a Junior Industrial Automation Engineer to support, design, and guide industrial projects. You will help ensure designs, specifications, and deliverables meet client needs, safety standards, and regulatory codes while collaborating with the automation team, project managers, and engineering colleagues.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical or systems engineering and 1–4 years of project engineering experience in industrial or automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Systems Engineering or related discipline. (REQUIRED)
- 1 to 4 years of experience in project engineering for industrial, energy, or automation projects. (REQUIRED)
- Knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and control system engineering, including PLC, HMI, VFD, robotics, and Vision Systems.
- Proficiency in engineering software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, EPLAN, Studio 5000, TIA Portal, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Support, design, and provide technical guidance for industrial projects.
- Ensure designs, specifications, and deliverables meet client requirements, safety standards, and regulatory codes.
- Collaborate with automation team, project managers, and engineering departments to provide technical leadership and ensure project execution.
