Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years of research experience required.
• Familiarity with basic molecular biology, biochemical and microbiological techniques.
• Computer skills including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Immunohistochemical and immunofluorescence staining of tissue sections.
• RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, RT-PCR, and Western blots; primer design.
• Cell culture, transfections, lentivirus preparation.
• Mouse colony maintenance and genotyping; record keeping.
• Mouse pregnancy experiments and labor timing studies.
• Isolation of cells from tissues; flow cytometry and single-cell RNA-Seq.
• Lab management: reagent orders, supplies, EH&S and IACUC liaison.
