Job summary

Airtron Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Installer Helper to assist with installing heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment for residential new construction or retail teams. You’ll test systems, identify issues, complete paperwork, and support startup and duct work while following safety policies.

Must have a high school diploma or GED (experience OK in lieu), mechanical aptitude, and English communication skills; valid driver's license and ability to work overtime are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; education may be substituted by experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn HVAC trade.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Beginner computing skills; able to use a computer, laptop or tablet.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Overtime and weekend hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment per requirements and specifications.
• Test systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Identify issues and follow up with necessary repairs to ensure proper operation.
• Complete paperwork neatly, accurately, and on time.
• May perform startup on air conditioning systems as needed.
• Fabricate and install ducts and duct fittings as required.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
