Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor and strategic collaborator across projects. You will align people strategies with business goals, foster inclusion, and ensure a seamless employee experience while supporting Labour Law processes and policy implementations.

You will coach on talent management, performance, recruitment, and change management, partnering with leaders and the recruitment team to optimize staffing and workforce redeployment.

Qualifications

• Recent Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources from a recognized post-secondary institution.
• Demonstrated ability to take clear, concise, and impartial meeting minutes in sensitive environments.
• Strong collaboration, judgment, and ethics to handle sensitive situations with diplomacy and tact.
• Knowledge of unionized environments and investigations is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
• Ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.

• As a Human Resources Business Partner, you’ll be a trusted advisor and strategic collaborator, helping shape a workplace where people thrive
• You’ll work closely with leaders and teams to align people strategies with business goals, foster a culture of inclusion and growth, and ensure seamless employee experience across the organization and project that you will be supporting
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify and prioritize organizational capabilities, behaviors, and structures that support strategic goals
• Build strong, credible relationships with internal stakeholders, offering expert guidance on all things people related
• Provide thoughtful coaching on talent management, performance, recruitment, terminations, compensation, development, and change management
• Partner with the Recruitment team and hiring managers to support staffing plans, project assignments and talent redeployment
• Support on different processes related to Labour Laws, disciplinary actions, employee life cycle, and operational activities
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of AtkinsRéalis policies and new processes that enhance operational effectiveness
• Anticipate business needs and deliver HR solutions aligned with our mission, vision, and values
• Lead initiatives that boost employee engagement, strengthen culture, and retain top talent
• Stay current on employment legislation and ensure compliance with government reporting requirements
• Develop and implement strategies that foster open communication and positive working relationships
