Acutronic Group in Pittsburgh is seeking a Junior HR Generalist / Recruiter to support recruitment and HR operations. The role balances recruiting activities with HR administration, onboarding, and employee lifecycle support in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to develop broad HR experience while partnering with managers and candidates throughout the employment process.

Formación

• 1+ year experience in human resources, recruiting, or a related administrative role.
• Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting processes.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience maintaining confidential employee records is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Recruitment – manage day-to-day recruitment for assigned positions and partner with hiring managers.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screens, coordinate interviews, and extend offers.
• Maintain candidate records and time-to-fill metrics; engage with staffing pipelines.
• Support onboarding, HRIS setup, and new-hire paperwork.
• Assist with HR policies, employee records, status changes, transfers, and terminations.

Acutronic is looking for a Junior HR Generalist / Recruiter to support the organization’s human resources and recruiting functions. This position will spend approximately 50% of its time supporting recruitment activities and 50% supporting general HR responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role provides an opportunity to develop broad HR experience while taking an active role in attracting, hiring, onboarding, and supporting employees throughout the employment lifecycle.

Your Roles/Responsibilities:

• Recruitment – Approximately 50%
  • Manage the day-to-day recruitment process for assigned positions
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and candidate qualifications
  • Review resumes and applications and identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Maintain timely and professional communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Extend employment offers in accordance with company procedures
  • Track recruiting activity, candidate status, open positions, and time-to-fill metrics
  • Develop and maintain relationships with staffing agencies, schools, and other talent pipelines as appropriate
  • Assist with recruiting events, job fairs, career outreach, and other employment branding activities.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential candidate records
  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process.
  • Source for passive candidates for current openings
• General Human Resources – Approximately 50%
  • Support the day-to-day administration of HR programs, policies, and procedures
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, including preparation of new hire paperwork, orientation, HRIS setup, and required documentation
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR files
  • Assist employees and managers with routine HR questions and direct more complex matters to the appropriate HR team member
  • Assist with employee status changes, transfers, promotions, and terminations
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee information and sensitive HR matters

Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 1 year of experience in human resources, recruiting, or a related administrative role
• Previous experience with full-cycle recruiting, preferred
• Familiarity with employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
